I'm new to LAVA and OpenG. I just attempted to run a VI that I downloaded from the code repository and it apparently needs files from an OpenG library. Where can I get the OpenG tools? I tried the OpenG website, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly?

You'll want to check out VIPM. It can download and install all the OpenG packages.

Hi,

hope you could guide me a little bit, please. I have just installed VI Package Manager and I'd like to get ogic-smtp package included in OpenG Internet Connectivity Tools, I'm not sure if VI Package Manager is able to download and manage ogic-smtp package or I had to download separately from OpenG website as pointed in http://forums.jkisoft.com/index.php?showtopic=72, in fact I followed the steps pointed there but without success sad.gif so any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,

Jose.

I haven't used that package, but it looks like it is just a zip file you download and unzip. If it doesn't work for you, you'll have to post to the openg forums, or perhaps the original author can provide you some information here on LAVA.

Jose,

Were you able to download the OpenG Internet Connectivity Tools? If you had trouble downloading them, make sure to click on the "5 attachements" link, to make the file downloads visible (see below).

You say that you followed the steps without success, but how far did you get? Please let us know how far you got and where you got stuck.

Thanks,

Hi folks,

Thanks for your replies. I have just found ogic-smtp functions under Internet palette frusty.gif so it's working right now. In fact and as well pointed by PJM once you have downloaded ogic-smtp zip file "the best way for you to install them is to create a folder under your LVRoot\User.lib and to extract the files there" and if you aren't blinded like me you had to find ogic-smtp functions under Internet palette.

Thanks for your time.

Jose.
