As Aristos Queue warned us last year, the INI key to stop LabVIEW from automatically putting numbers in the corners of your VI icons has changed in LabVIEW 8.6. It is now
UseNumbersForNewVIIcons=FALSE
Note that it now appears to apply to all the new VIs you create, instead of just those in .lvclasses and .lvlibs. thumbup1.gif
