Similar to the rings and enums, the color box in 8.2 also causes a VI Mouse Leave event to fire when the mouse enters the selection area.

Did you report this to NI?
I don't think they monitor this list, but they do monitor the monthly bug threads over at the NI forums. -------------------- More than meets the eye...
