Drag and drop of an Xnode from the project or a file browser into the BD of a VI doesn't work.

It is unsupported but should work.

Works for me from Windows Explorer and from LabVIEW Project Explorer for at least LabVIEW build-in xnodes in LabVIEW 8.2.1.

I was using the Xnodes from the CR wink.gif

That might be the source of the error.

I'm guessing this might be my XNodes then. There are problems if the linkages for all the ability vi's aren't quite right. Try to mass compile the folder with the .xnodes and their ability vi's in and see if that claims to be missing any vis.

OK, found, if the linkage is not OK the Xnode will not drop.

PS Michael could you move this to the Rusty Nails Xnode forum?

Mike doesn't necessarily have the time or inclination to read all posts on LAVA, so if you want him to do any admining on a particular thread and/or post, click the "REPORT!" button next to the post in question.
