i'm using LabVIEW 8.0 PDS. When calling the "Read from Text File" of "Write to Text File" functions with an error and a refnum <> NULL the functions set the refnum to NULL. see attachment. The Binary File IO functions seem to work properly. could someone please confirm this? Best regards
chris

I can't confirm. I do get a valid refnum out. I tested this on LabVIEW 8.0.1 & 8.2.
Maybe it is an issue on LabVIEW 8.0.

I also tested with 8.2 and do get a valid refnum. Must be an issue with 8.0
