Has anyone been through one of these yet?

Passengers virtually stripped naked by 3-D airport scanner

Didn't they have one of these in Total Recall?

This is similar: SafeView

Looks like a job for an NI Vision application. Why do we need human eyes looking at each and every naked body? blink.gif

Not yet. At least not in Newark International Airport.
Looks creepy though.
I don't believe the image is erased immediately as they claim. No one ever deletes anything these days.

That was the exact same thought I had when I read that the images were deleted. Even the copy machines at work save an image of every document that is copied/scanned/emailed on an internal hard drive.

Someone needs to start a pool to see how long it will take for some bored TSA employee to post the images to YouTube or somewhere else. Anyone who has stock in the maker of the scanning machine should be ready for that day.
