Some information about me:: I graduated from Hawkeye Institute of Technology (now Hawkeye Community College) in Waterloo, Iowa and started to work for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as an Electronics Test Technician. I worked there for 10 years eventually moving up to Software Engineer. During this time I obtained my degree in Computer Science at Mount Mercy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I also start to use LabVIEW as my chief programming language. After getting my degree, I sent out a few resumes to see what I was now worth. I got a job offer from National Instuments and accepted a position in their LabVIEW group in Austin, Texas. While there I helped develop the Report Generation VIs as well as the Express VIs. I worked there for 5 years before returning to Iowa.

I am now employed at DISTek Integration, Inc. in Cedar Falls, Iowa. We do system integration and use LabVIEW and National Insturments hardware to create custom solutions for our customers. We are the only National Instruments Alliance Partner in Iowa, but others are trying.
